Hello, I am the CEO and founder of HandyShower. I invented HandyShower: a 3-in-1 personal hygiene system that can function as a faucet, a bidet, or a shower. The device is equipped with a patented-self closing valve which facilitates water conservation. The whole kit fits in a small sachet and weighs not much more than a pound. (More details here: en.handyshower.pl) The main idea behind the project was to help citizens of the developing world where sanitation conditions are often very poor. However, our device also has the potential to be a very useful piece of outdoor gear. We’re currently looking for volunteers who would be willing to get to know HandyShower and share their opinions with us. Dear Iwanejko. I find your work interesting and would love to learn more, share my feedback and explore any opportunities for collaboration. I am based in Nairobi, with experience with community-based water projects (providing household biosand water filters; leading a youth-focused citizen science project for bio-monitoring of Nairobi River). Am also a green building expert, currently finalizing a consultancy for Kenya government and UNDP on establishing Kenya's Green Building Standard which promotes integration of water efficiency and conservation technologies and practices in buildings.
