Munawar Abbas (B.Sc) Water Quality Specialist, Training Consultant

Munawar Abbas has been involved in various projects implemented by KSC in different cities of the country. He is leading the Karakorum Scientific Consultants (KSC) working in the field of environment, water resources and hygiene sector for the last six years. Mr. Munawar has 18 years professional experience in the field of water quality monitoring of drinking water and waste water, environmental sanitation and hygiene. His research paper on “Monitoring of Drinking Water Quality in Northern Pakistan” was published two times by Water Engineering Development Center (WEDC) London which was presented during WEDC 30th Conference held at Kampala Uganda in 2005. He has been involved as water expert in emergency relief services working with different international humanitarian agencies like Austrian Army in, German Ago Action, Islamic Relief (UK), Mercy Corps Pakistan during emergencies of earthquake in Pakistan 2005, Flood in Pakistan 2010 and Rain Flood in 2011. About his expertise some international media team has published their valuable remarks on a website www.mercycorps.org.pk and his interview was uploaded on YouTube during flood emergency response 2010.
