About
Dr. María Cárdenas Gaudry holds a Dr. techn. in Civil Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology, a MSc. in Water and Land Resources Engineering and a BSc. in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru, as well as a diploma in Environmental Engineering and a MSc. in Water Management and Environmental from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.She joined the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) as Research Fellow, she was a research assistant at the Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management of the Vienna University of Technology and took part as Guest Faculty Member at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina where she taught on Integrated Management of Hydrographic River Basins.
Dr. Cárdenas has an extensive professional background in agro-energy and water treatment.
Her main researches were focused in hydrological modelling of both of surface waters and aquifers.
Currently, she is working in environmental, water management, agriculture and construction cases.
