About
Has worked in various roles from Senior Expert to Project Manager in and of multi-disciplinary teams. This has evolved into a consultancy and advisory role on all aspects of water.
Projects undertaken span the range of Master Planning, Feasibility Studies, Preliminary Designs, Detailed Engineering and Tender Document preparation.
These projects have concerned urban drainage and flood control as well as water supply and sanitation, sewerage and water resources management in a multitude of countries. In recent years climate vulnerability and -adaptation are a main focus.
As Urban Drainage Expert he has been involved in a great number of urban flood management studies for residential developments, industrial sites and airports. In addition, he was responsible for the drafting of a large number of Municipal Sewerage/Drainage Plans and optimisations of integrated urban wastewater systems.
Recently he was involved in a number of flood management and pollution control projects—with special attention to climate change impact and the application of blue/green infrastructure and nature-based solutions—in The Netherlands, China, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Panama, Angola, Ghana.
