Francesca Principato is currently a Collaborator in Scientific and Research activities at the University of Calabria, Italy. She pursued her Ph.D. in Hydraulic Engineering for Environment and Territory at the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2015 with a thesis entitled “Vegetated roofs as a Low Impact Development (LID) approach: hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater runoff mitigation in urban environment” . During her Ph.D. she spent 9 months at INSA Lyon for her research. Her research interests are stormwater management, urban drainage, sustainable water solutions and their hydrological modeling.
