About

Andrea Rubini holds a master degree in Water Resource Engineering. He is a Senior European Policy Expert with a long experience in Industrial Innovation, Regional Policies, Water, Energy, and Food Security for both the private and public sector. He has gained more than 20 years of experience in the multi-level European lobbying context in Brussels, working for the Lombardy Region Presidency Delegation to the EU, and the EU Institutions (European Commission, DG REGIO). His previous experience with UNDP and other International Organisations completes his profile. Currently, he works as Technical Director of the European Water supply, sanitation Technology Platform WssTP, is a member of the PPP SPIRE Partnership Board, and vice chair of the Water JPI Advisory Group. He is a lecturer of the University of Rome La Sapienza, the University of Milan, the University of Rwanda, University of Turin, and consultant of the Turin International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation.
