Amina has more than 20 years of experience working in sustainable development, including 15 years as a senior consultant to government, industry and non-government organisations, and 7 years as a government official in development and environment functions She has worked in all nine provinces in South Africa, and has international experience from elsewhere in Africa and in Europe and North America. She considers natural sciences technical knowledge, together with goals for socio-economic development and good governance, when identifying development and environment challenges and solutions.
